I am certain that the Founding Fathers never imagined that those elected to serve We the People would ever only be interested in serving themselves at the expense of We the People.

But that appears to be what is happening in Washington, D.C. today.
Consider this: Congressmen, once elected, have a job for a term and maybe for life if they can keep getting re-elected. They really are not required to do much except for whatever is necessary to get re-elected. They have great health insurance, are often away from “the office” and will get a pension for life.

Maybe that is the best job available to anyone in this country today.

It may take a ‘We the People Uprising’ or ‘We the People Takeover’ to restore this country to what it was up until a few decades ago.
