Speaking coach to present in entrepreneurial event

Angie Alley, a speaking coach for TEDxABQ, will be speaking at StartUp School on Wednesday at 3 p.m. The event is hosted by FatPipe ABQ co-working space, located at 200 Broadway Blvd., according to a University release.

StartUp School is an “entrepreneurial literacy program” for UNM-affiliated individuals interested in product development or personal business startup. It will be two hours long and divided into a session of 30 to 45 minutes of teaching content, and 90 minutes of entrepreneurial office hours for a question-and-answer session with the event's presenter.

The event is free to UNM students, faculty and staff.

UNM has been working in collaboration with the city for the creation of the Innovation Academy, a way for students to apply their knowledge and passion in an entrepreneurial atmosphere. The Innovation Academy will begin formally holding classes and seminars this fall.
