In the Grand Old White Party, denying racism is the new racism. When less then 1% of the 28% of African Americans in South Carolina voted in the Republican Primary for POTUS, the GOP has a problem. When former Republican Candidate has a ranch called N*****head, there is a problem. When the majority of Republicans don’t believe that the first African American POTUS of the United States isn’t really an American, but an African, there is a problem. When the right compares the FLOTUS to a monkey, or calls Obama boy or Tar Baby, there is a problem. When dolts like Santorum or Newt pompously claim that ‘the blacks’ need to get off food stamps and welfare, when the majority of welfare and food stamp recipiants are white, there’s a problem.

I don’t think the Conservative right has been well served by the powerful echo chambers of Fox ‘News’, Talk Radio, The Drudge Report, and blahgs. They are steeply immersed in ignorance, misinformation, spin, and talking points. The left has the same problem. Folks on both sides would really benefit from a course in reasoning and critical thinking!
