6:00pm

National Touring Indie Musician @ St. Clair Winery

David Newbould. One night only. Concert is FREE.

Newbould’s music has been featured on network television shows, including “Criminal Minds”, “Party of Five”, “Joan of Arcadia”, “Dawson’s Creek”, “Threshold”, “7th Heaven”, Lifetime’s “Monarch Cove” and Lifetime Movie’s “The Two Mr. Kissels”. His song “Hold Tight, My Blood” was picked up for the trailer of the recently released “Streets of Blood”, a murder-mystery set in New Orleans, LA in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, starring Val Kilmer, ’50 Cent’ and Sharon Stone.

According to Sony Music, “David is a world class songwriter”. He plays a brand of rock and roll that is not limited to such genres such as Americana, classic rock, or singer-songwriter restraint. It is a brand that celebrates all of rock music’s melodic past, and one which is still familiar to those who love rock and roll and all the richness and depth it has to offer. His voice is compelling and his lyrics take you through travels of time, the bonds of family, the occasional mystery and both the joys and the hurts of love. He “has the audience hanging on every word and nuance”, said NYC freelance reviewer, Jerry Matthews.

In February 2007, Newbould released “Big Red Sun”, a 13-track CD that garnered raves reviews and was ranked among the best CD’s of 2008 by Performing Songwriter magazine. “Newbould sings every word with a dusty radiance…blazes brightest when blurring alternate hues of exhaustion and exuberance,” said Performing Songwriter magazine. As a farewell tribute, Newbould released “The Long Way Home: David Newbould And Friends – Live From Austin”, a CD/DVD compilation recorded live at Momo’s in Austin, including previously unreleased songs.

Following the call of the next level of his career, Newbould relocated to Nashville in May of this year and, for the first time since, is now setting out on a tour to support “Long Way Home”. Of all his performances on this tour, he is scheduled for 14 shows in TX, four in New Mexico, one in Colorado and three in Louisiana, with several shows in Texas, New Mexico and Louisiana still pending. On Nov 1st, he shared the stage with Jon Dee Graham at Continental Club in Austin.
