United States Senate

U.S. House of Representatives
Bernalillo County Sheriff Darren White, a Republican, is running against City Council President Martin Heinrich, a Democrat, for New Mexico's First Congressional District. The seat has been occupied by a Republican since it was created in 1969. General Obligation Bonds
There are four general obligation bonds on the 2008 ballot. The money for these bonds comes from statewide property taxes. General obligation bonds are voted on every two years. Bond A Would distribute about $14 million to help construct and improve senior citizen centers in New Mexico, including about $2.
