A poster board in Smith Plaza is riddled with graffiti. University maintenance members have responded to more than 2,240 work orders for the removal of graffiti since fall 2011. Although graffiti that includes offensive messages, such as profanity, is top priority, University policy mandates that all graffiti be removed within 24 hours.

Although plans to renovate the Vagabond Inn into a residential area were struck down by City Council in August, developer Lance Sigmon said he will move forward with plans make the hotel fully functional. Sigmon said the current zoning permit for the Vagabond Inn allows him to re-establish the hotel.

Senior Ian Christmas travels down the wheelchair ramp near the Education Classrooms on Monday afternoon. Complaints were made to the Facility Access Committee regarding campus ramps that are too steep, according to steepness regulations mandated by the Americans with Disabilities Act.
