On Tuesday, November 19, the city of Albuquerque will vote on whether to abolish the right of women to abort after 20 weeks of pregnancy. Everyone has an opinion about abortion; it really is a controversial issue with reasonable arguments from both sides.
Angelica Torrez is just another face on campus to most who see her. However, getting to know her, she is so much more than that; she’s smiley and happy, always chatting with anyone interested in sharing a moment with her. She’s never alone, constantly surrounded by friends and always so happy to be alive.
Whether you’re so pale you’re pink like me, or you’re turquoise like a Smurf, it doesn’t matter if you love someone of the same gender or someone of the opposite; you’re entitled to the love only Hollywood can portray.
