Tens of thousands of abortion opponents took to the National Mall last Friday to demonstrate against the 1973 Supreme Court ruling in the case of Roe v. Wade.
The long-contested ruling legalized abortion on the federal level. Demonstrators call for a repeal of the landmark ruling and federal de-funding of Planned Parenthood.
