GK: Their film department. I think it is really good.

DL: What is one of your hobbies?

GK: I like hip-hop, mostly the underground stuff.

DL: Do you go to a lot of underground concerts here in Albuquerque?

GK: I used to when I played.

DL: What instrument did you play?

GK: I played drums.

DL: Why did you choose to major in graphic design?

GK: That's what my parents do.

DL: What's your favorite class this

semester?

GK: It would be photo, but I just dropped that class. So, maybe drawing. I am also taking classes at CNM, but those classes aren't too interesting.

DL: What do you want to do with your major after you graduate?

GK: I would like to get a job at an animation studio like DreamWorks or Pixar.

DL: Why work at an animation studio and not do business graphics?

GK: Animation is a lot more interesting to me. It would be more fun to do. I like working with animation, mostly on the computer, though. I am not very good with drawing on paper.
