DL: What things do you miss about Guadalajara?

KZ: I miss the rain and the trees. It is really moist there, but this year in New Mexico has been nice because of all the rain we have had.

DL: Do you think you will stay here when you have finished school?

KZ: I think I will continue my education and go for my Ph.D.

DL: Do you have family here?

KZ: No, I am here by myself but I talk to my parents and family everyday, and I keep in touch with my friends using e-mail and Facebook. I stay very connected to them.

DL: What do you want to do as a profession when you are done?

KZ: I do not know. Research or teach? I am a TA right now in the Spanish department, and I really like it. I like to dabble in different things.
