UPDATE: UNMPD: suspect has been caught

At 11:08 a.m. Friday morning UNM sent out an alert warning the UNM community a female stabbing suspect was at large somewhere in the UNM main, north or south campus areas.

Albuquerque Police Department spokeswoman Cafia Martinez said the suspect arrived at UNM hospital this morning with a male who had a laceration on his arm. She then parked her car somewhere in the vicinity and left the scene on foot.

Police are on the lookout for a 5-foot, 9-inch white female with brown hair wearing a black jacket and purple or pink pajama pants.

UPDATE: According to UNM, at 1:15 the suspect was caught. The alert has been dropped.
