What do you think about the recent ban on hoverboards from UNM campus?
Cory McBride, grad student, music
"It's hilarious, they're ridiculous and it's about time that they did it. I mean, people are being kind of disrespectful with those in the sense that riding around in a lot of buildings, just kind of looking like dicks in general. It's good that there is some limitation because they have no regard for the people around them."
Iona Vernon, freshman, undecided
"I think that they're kind of obnoxious, but I don't really see the point in them being banned, because it kind of seems an efficient way to get around. I mean, they're not really my cup of tea, wouldn't ride one around, but I don't really see the point in them being banned."
Daniel Gillis, senior, archaeology
"I don't think they should have banned them because skateboards are just as dangerous as hoverboards."
Kaitlin Kerl, sophomore, strategic communications

"I actually approve that they've been banned, I think they're really dangerous. The fact that they are exploding in people's houses and stuff doesn't make me feel comfortable and as a long boarder, a lot of hoverboards have crashed into longboards and... I don't think they're as safe as longboards."
