Cafecitos con perritos y Rosa
September 25Throughout the semester, Rosa Isela Cervantes - Director & Special Advisor to the President on Latino Affairs - holds Cafecitos Con Rosa. In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, El Centro de la Raza held the event in the Mesa Vista Courtyard in collaboration with High Desert Therapy Dogs on Sept. 20. Several dogs came to snuggle with students during the event, including the pups pictured above. This event created a space for students to visit with Cervantes and create a sense of community.
