Editor,
I find it sad that my country is busy creating orphans, widows and homeless people. I find it depressing that most of these victims that my country is creating have no idea what the Pentagon or World Trade Center were until a few weeks ago.
I find it unfortunate that I am being labeled as unpatriotic because I do not support the actions of my country, which are creating orphans, widows and homelessness.
I remember on the morning of Sept. 11, when I watched the horror unfold on television. I sat in shock as the twin towers fell. I could not hear the screams on television, but I could hear them in my mind. I could sense the fear. I could imagine the pain.
Well, right now in another part of my world, my country is repeating the horror. Right now, a little girl is screaming because she can't find her parents. Right now, a man is wondering how he will get on with his life with two amputated legs. Right now, life is slipping out of a weak woman trapped in a collapsed building.
And my country is directly responsible for this horror.

I find myself unable to support the actions of my country in this war, no matter what I may be labeled. But like Mother Teresa said, I am not against war, I am for peace.
