Editor,
I must apologize for yesterday's letter regarding Michael Carrasco's column. Very little of what I wrote was a direct comment on Michael's actual words. I do accept most of the blame for my unjustified attacks, but I believe the Daily Lobo needs to do a much better job of writing the headlines it prints for its editorials.
Michael's headline was "Leftist ideas not based on fact," while nowhere in his article did it express this view. The bitterness of my response was mainly due to the title of his article, which was not his opinion. However, I still accept responsibility for what I wrote in not looking past the mislabeled headline and criticizing a man whose opinions I respect and enjoy.
