Men's basketball player Javin Tindall and swimmer Aimee Dunavant are this week's New Mexico Daily Lobo Athletes of the Week.
Tindall set a career-high with four 3-pointers in Wednesday's 107-49 blowout of Western New Mexico University. On Saturday, the junior guard topped that mark hitting five 3-pointers in six attempts against San Diego State University. He finished with a career-high 17 points in the win.
Dunavant posted a new school record in the 100-meter butterfly, finishing in 58.56 seconds. The sophomore also had a personal best in the 200-meter individual medley relay in a time of 2:12.76.
