2 - Matt Griebel - FS

Last week's Sun Belt Conference Defensive Player of the Week, Gabriel's 15 tackles helped propel the Aggies to their first win of the season against Troy. NMSU's hardest hitting player is second on the team in total tackles this season, with 25.

11 - Buck Pierce - QB

The NMSU quarterback is an efficient, heady passer. Pierce has thrown just one interception this year, compared to five touchdowns. Just don't expect him to take off on the ground. Pierce has minus-7 rushing yards this year on 23 attempts.
