UNM didn't repeat as a national champion, but the ski team still finished fourth at the 2005 NCAA Championships in Stowe, Vermont.
The Lobo women were the story of the meet. They won their third straight title in the Nordic Freestyle, with senior Martina Stursova and junior Trine Lundamo named All-Americans thanks to their strong performances in the event.
Gladys Weidt, Lars Loeseth and Dirk Grimm were also named to the All-America team.
Denver won overall for its 18th national title.
