The Lobos didn't have the outing they were looking for at the NCAA Central Regional Championships May 5-7.

UNM was led by sophomore Ashley Rollins who finished in a tie for 20th place with a 10-over-par 226.
She was followed by junior Christine Fernandez whose 3-over-par 75 in the final round gave her a 13-over-par for the tournament. She finished in a tie for 31st.
Senior Kailin Downs, the highest-ranked individual on the UNM team, finished the tournament in a tie for 63rd with a 19-over-par 235. Men's Tennis
The senior doubles tandem of David Kowalski and Ryan Stotland ended its career on a sour note at the NCAA Doubles Championships in College Station, Texas on May 26.
Ranked No. 14 in the nation, the duo couldn't handle No. 1-ranked John Isner and Antonio Ruiz from the University of Georgia.
Kowalski and Stotland came out quick, though, and took the first set 7-6. Their victory was short-lived, however, as they dropped the next set 7-6. The two couldn't muster enough steam to take the third set, as they fell 6-4.
