What the liberal left and Green Party supporters need to understand about the war on terrorism can be summarized by the example of a bug zapper.
You don't hang the bug zapper in the house so the bugs fly around the house before you kill them in the zapper. You hang the zapper out in the yard so you kill the bugs before they get into the house.
You kill the bugs where they live, not where you live. There has not been a terrorist attack on American soil since Sept. 11, 2001, and if we keep the fight out in the yard, there won't be. The more bugs we kill outside, the fewer that are left to bite inside.
As for the people who don't understand this theory or are appalled by it - Canada has your name on it.
