The UNM men's golf team came in fourth place in the 16-team three-round PING Arizona Intercollegiate tournament that ended Tuesday.
The Lobos finished the tournament with a 4-under-par 848 on the par 71 course. Brigham Young University won the tournament at 18-under-par, nine strokes better than the two second-place teams, the University of Arizona and Arizona State University.
Senior Jay Choi came in seventh place for the Lobos with a 4-under-par 209 as their top finisher. Freshman Steve Saunders followed in 12th place with a 1-under-par. Mark Anderson came in third place for the Lobos and tied for 21st at 2-over-par.
Freshman Nick Geyer was 26th at 3-over-par, while junior Charlie Beljan tied for 54th at 10-over-par. Playing as individuals, freshman Travis Reid came in 26th at 3-over-par and freshman Daniel Saltz tied for 87th at 34-over-par.
