parked there for three hours and
was charged $5. When I questioned

the man who was working there at
the time why it was $5 and not $3.75
- at $1.25 per hour - he informed
me that I had parked there for three
hours and one minute, and that they
charge you for a full hour just for
that extra minute.
With tuition prices rising and gas
prices being so high, I was disgusted
to see that the University is trying to
squeeze every last penny out of its
students. When I asked who decided

I could talk to about this, the man
just shrugged and said that it was up
to the University.
I think that we should all boycott
that structure until the University can
come up with prices that are geared
toward an asset more important than
a parking structure - its students.
