The UNM men's baseball team earned its biggest win of the season Friday, defeating No. 7 Nebraska 6-2.
The Lobos rebounded in the second game of a doubleheader against the Huskers after losing the first game 6-2. They lost 9-0 to Illinois State on Saturday and 2-1 to Texas-Arlington on Sunday.
Friday's win stopped an eight-game losing streak against
Nebraska.

Junior Jordan Pacheco led UNM in the victory, going 3-for-4 from the plate and scoring a run. Drew McDonald went 2-for-3 and knocked in three RBIs.
Bobby LaFromboise pitched eight innings for the Lobos and gave up just one run on three hits.
UNM could not get its offense going Saturday and was out-hit 17-5 in a shutout loss to Illinois State.
The Lobos led 1-0 going into the bottom of the ninth Sunday against Texas-Arlington, before giving up two runs to end
the game.
