The UNM swimming and diving team couldn't improve on last year's finish, placing seventh this weekend at the Mountain West Conference Championships in Oklahoma City.
Ashley Grisdale was the lone Lobo to earn a medal in the meet, finishing second in the 200-yard butterfly in 2:04.49. Diver Carrie Quinn placed fifth on the platform board with a score of 198.6.
UNM's 400-yard freestyle relay placed sixth overall.
As a team, the Lobos scored 260 points, earning seventh place in the nine-team MWC.

Brigham Young won the conference title with 747 points, followed by Utah at 618 and the University of Nevada-Las Vegas with 527.
