The UNM baseball team had a rough weekend, getting swept in a three-game series against San Diego State in San Diego.
With the losses, the Lobos fall to 14-21 overall and 3-6 in the Mountain West Conference. Meanwhile, the Aztecs improve to 21-14 on the season and 6-2 in MWC play.
The Lobos lost the first game 6-3 on Thursday. Bobby LaFramboise took the loss after giving up four runs on eight hits and two walks in four innings. LaFramboise fell to 5-2 on the season.
SDSU was victorious in Thursday's extra-inning game, winning 6-5 in the 10th after UNM pitcher Brandon Hewett hit an Aztec batter with the bases loaded to score the

winning run.
UNM couldn't reverse the momentum in Saturday's series finale, as SDSU pounded out 24 hits en route to a 13-6 win. Lobo pitcher Adam Skelton fell to 0-1 on the season after giving up eight runs - six earned - on 14 hits in 5 1/3 innings.
The Lobos have now lost four in a row to the Aztecs and were swept by SDSU for the first time since 2003.
