The No. 19 UNM women's golf team finished its season with a 22nd place showing at the NCAA National Championships held at the LPGA International Legends Golf Course in Daytona
Beach, Fla.
The Lobos concluded their 13th appearance at the championships with a four-day total of 1,254 - 102-shots over par. UNM was 84 shots behind Duke, which captured its third straight team title.
The Lobos were led by freshman Jodi Ewart, who tied for 50th place at 18 over par for the event. Ewart carded rounds of 76, 76, 79 and 75 for a total of 306, 24 shots off the lead.

The National Golf Coaches Association awarded Ewart with second team All-American honors on May 25. Ewart won the Mountain West Conference individual title on April 21, while setting the UNM freshman scoring record this year with a 73.35 average. The North Yorkshire, England, native was also named MWC Co-Player of the Year and Freshman of the Year.
As a team, UNM finished in the top 10 at every tournament heading into the national championships and is in good shape for next season, as the Lobos will not lose any players to graduation.
