Staff Report
A couple of assistant coaches are moving up the ranks at UNM.
Athletics Director Paul Krebs filled the holes of the ski team and women's golf team on June 14.
After head ski coach George Brooks retired from UNM in 2007, Krebs announced Fredrik Landstedt as his replacement. Landstedt has been an assistant with the Lobos for 10 seasons.
Meanwhile, Jill Trujillo has been named the women's golf head coach after being an assistant for the last three seasons. Trujillo took over as interim coach during the latter part of the season for Jackie Booth, whose contract was not renewed this season.

Landstedt becomes the second head coach in UNM ski team history. Last season, he led the Lobos to a sixth-place finish at the NCAA Championships and was on staff when UNM won the national championship in 2004.
As the head Nordic coach, Landstedt helped 18 UNM athletes earn 30 All-
American honors.
Before coming to UNM, Landstedt coached at the University of Colorado, which won a national championship in 1995.
As interim coach with the Lobos, Trujillo helped UNM place 22nd at the NCAA Championships in 2007. The Lobos qualified for the national championships for the three seasons Trujillo was an assistant coach.
