Former UNM men's basketball player Danny Granger was named the NBA's Eastern Conference Player of the Week.
Granger helped the Indiana Pacers to a 3-0 start by averaging 22.7 points, 8.7 rebounds and 1.7 steals.
The former Lobo is shooting 50 percent on the season and leads the league with 10 three-pointers.
Granger was selected 17th in the first round of the 2005 NBA draft.

As a Lobo, he was a two-time All-Mountain West Conference recipient and named an Honorable Mention All-American his senior year.
Granger finished with 994 points for his Lobo career. He recorded 20 double-doubles.
Granger averaged 19.1 points and 8.9 rebounds per game during his career at UNM, and his 91 blocks ranks sixth in school history.
