I just moved here and am becoming familiar with the local teams. I have looked into the Lobos, and I am disgusted with a certain slogan. What is the deal with "Everyone's a Lobo! Woof! Woof! Woof!"?
Last I recall, Lobos howl. They don't bark like our pet dogs. Whoever came up with that obviously had no creativity. I have friends who go to school at UNM, and they said they think it's retarded. I personally think it's ridiculous. I wish I could find information about where this slogan came to be. Bark, bark, bark.
