Sen. John McCain is an experienced senator, a maverick who has crossed the aisle to get legislation through, a known opponent of pork-barrel spending, supports campaign finance reform and loves this country and will protect it from hostile forces. Terrorists know better than to test him. They know he won't be soft on them.
He went outside the box to choose Gov. Sarah Palin of Alaska as his running mate. She has done well for the 49th state and relates to average Americans, because she is one of them. Here are some very interesting facts about Alaska and its governor and why our nation will be in very good hands with McCain-Palin at the helm.
