UNM senior guard Caroline Durbin outscored Northern New Mexico by herself during an exhibition game Tuesday night at The Pit, leading the Lobos to a 91-18 win over the Eagles.
Durbin had 21 points in the exhibition, UNM’s first of the 2012-13 season. She made eight of her nine shots.
Freshman forward Khadijah Shumpert added 17 points. She and Durbin were the only Lobos to reach double-digit scoring, but 13 of the 14 players scored.
UNM shot 52 percent from the field (36 of 69), limiting Northern New Mexico to 11.1 percent (6 of 54).
