Men’s basketball
The New Mexico men’s basketball team is partnering with Nike N7 sportswear and will wear turquoise jerseys on Nov. 30 versus San Diego in honor of Native American Heritage Month.
Nike N7 is also collaborating with Nevada, Florida State and Oregon State.
The purpose of the jerseys is to show that Native Americans can lead active lifestyles and to set a good example for future generations.
Oregon State was the first school to wear turquoise jerseys in 2010, becoming the first university to acknowledge Native American Heritage Month in that manner.
Seniors Kendall Williams and Alex Kirk were named to the Wooden Award Preseason Watch List on Tuesday.
Women’s basketball

Brown earned the first double-double of her career — 28 points and 11 boards — in a 69-65 win over Loyola Marymount.
Porsche Torrance was the last Lobo to receive MWC Player of the Week honors in Jan. of 2012.
Volleyball
The New Mexico volleyball team faces No. 10 Colorado State in Fort Collins, Colo. on Thursday.
The Rams top the Mountain West Conference with a 23-0, 14-0 MWC record. CSU is one of two undefeated teams left in the NCAA. The only other unbeaten team in the nation is Missouri at 28-0.
UNM lost in five sets to CSU on Sept. 26 — a game in which the Lobos beat the Rams in every major statistic.
The Lobos are in a two-way tie with Fresno State for second place in the Mountain West Conference. Both teams are 20-5, 10-4 MWC.
