John Thompson, director of the U.S. Census Bureau, will speak at the 2015 session of New Mexico Data Users Conference on Nov. 19, according to a UNM news release.
According to the release, other speakers include Mike Ratcliffe of the Census Bureau's Geography Division, as well as Barb LaFleur, from the Data Users Branch Customer Liaison and Marketing Services Office.
There will also be 10 state and local experts on the agenda, according to the event’s website. The conference will address topics that range from demographics and population forecasts to mapping and employment.
Early registration costs $55 a person. After Wednesday the price goes up to $65, and registering on the day of the conference will be $70. The conference will run from 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the CNM Workforce Training Center, according to the release.
