What is your best advice to stay motivated during summer school?
Tim Regalado, graduate student, special education
“First off, don’t forget to do things that you like. Make time for yourself aside from just putting yourself through school. Even when you graduate, that’s what it’s about anyway down the road. Not just (being) studious.”
Delonn Wyatt, undecided, sophomore
“Focus on the task at hand, but relax a little bit. Sure you have work to put in but you have to enjoy yourself. Don’t stress too much about it and do your best to get through.”
Dannelle Kirven, sophomore, criminology/journalism

“Get focused, get a planner, study now, party later.”
Mary Blasi, senior, biochemistry
“Just hang out with the right crowd. During summer it’s really easy to get caught up in partying. You get used to not being in school which is the best feeling, there is no stress, but with summer school you get that little break but you have to keep going. Just hang out with the right crowd that will keep you motivated.”
