The Science and Math Learning Center is one of UNM’s five Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED)-certified buildings on campus. The University adopted former Gov. Bill Richardson’s UNM Climate Action Plan in 2009, which requires buildings of more than 15,000 square feet to meet the LEED Silver qualifications for sustainable buildings.
