Ads staff got more laughs than concern from results

Editor,

In response to Lowell Gibbs’ concerns expressed in the Daily Lobo on Tuesday, we chuckled when Taos ties with Wolf Creek for second place for “Best Place to Snowboard,” putting it on the list for the third year in a row.

Taos never has allowed snowboarding and probably never will. We just report the results.

The Daily Lobo Lo Mejor survey is not scientific (respondents are not randomly selected, and an incentive is offered for students to send in their surveys, i.e. movie passes) but we compute the results and publish them accurately.
