Smith won her second race of the outdoor season, winning the 200 meters in a season-best 24.18 seconds. She also recorded a team-best time of 56.47 seconds in finishing in fourth place in her first 400-meter race of the season.
At the University of Texas-Arlington Open, Stewart won the 400 meters in a team-best time of 47.42 seconds. It was Stewart’s first 400 event of the outdoor season. Stewart’s 400 time is unofficially the second-fastest in the Mountain West Conference for the the outdoor season.
