The UNM volleyball team is on a five-match winning streak, but it will have its hands full when it visits the Utah Utes on Friday. Utah was recently ranked 20th in the AVCA poll but is coming off a tough five-game loss to San Diego State University. The Utes are 11-4 overall and 1-1 in the Mountain West Conference.
UNM travels to Brigham Young University on Saturday. The Cougars are 6-9 overall and 1-1 in the MWC. BYU is coming off a three-game loss to the SDSU and defeated the University of Nevada Las Vegas in five games before that. Last week the Lobos fared well, winning two matches at home including a thrilling five-game comeback victory against in-state rival New Mexico State University on Tuesday.
Both matches begin at 7 p.m.
