Basketball players Mark Walters and Jordan Adams are this week's New Mexico Daily Lobo Athletes of the Week.
Walters recorded his first double-double against Northeastern University in a 90-88 victory. He had 12 points and 11 rebounds. On Friday, he had a career-high 19 points in a win over Indiana-Purdue University Fort Wayne.
Adams led the Lobos to victories over Texas on Saturday and the UT-San Antonio on Sunday. On Friday she had 22 points against the 17th-ranked Longhorns in a 77-70 win. Sunday Adams scored 12 points and barely missed a double-double with nine rebounds in a 66-49 win.
