Downs earned the first win of her college career this weekend at the Branch Law Firm/ Dick McGuire Invitational. Downs finished 7 under at the par 73 course. She led the Lobos to a first-place team finish with scores of 70-68-74-212.

Lobo Defense

Football

The Lobo defensive unit caused five turnovers in Saturday's game against the Aggies. The offense converted three of the turnovers into 17 third-quarter points. NMSU's only points in the second half were scored on a field goal in the fourth quarter.
