Tell Us About the Rabbits is a truly eclectic company that combines a mixture of dance, theater and art in an attempt to excite and awaken minds.
Tell Us About The Rabbits will be presenting one of its fully themed shows, titled "Post-Apocalyptic Burlesque," at Burt's Tiki Lounge Saturday.
The show will feature a variety of dance forms, including modern, jazz and belly dancing as well as singing and a physical theater piece.
The performance will also incorporate works from local artist Tim Cochran and the musical stylings of Jeffery Wood or DJ Professor Jeff.

"The Goddess," a dominatrix of sorts, will present a creative performance and a demonstration as part of the choreographed show.
Julianna C. Evens, the company's manager and co-director, said the varied nature of the performance calls for different venue options. A bar seems the perfect setting for this diverse artistic display.
This non-stop show is set in the year 2040. Everyone involved plays a specific character and will be in full costume.
This includes the Mistress of Ceremonies Xandria, played by Evens whose job it will be to "keep the crowd amused and interested in between pieces," Evens said.
Evens and fellow director Edris Hoover, a UNM student and the company's resident choreographer, described the show as "Mad Max meets Cabaret." This work is a burlesque that aims toward sex appeal - with a comic twist. The show is meant to be "half comical and half eye candy," Evens said.
Because the entirety of the show is themed, guests are encouraged to come in costume. There will also be themed drink specials offered by the bar, which opens its doors at 8 p.m. The show will start at 9 p.m. with no cover.
In addition to directors Evens and Hoover, the company is under the direction of Aaron Snowden, the company's writer and treasurer.
Snowden is a former theater and writing student at UNM. He and his partners say they do this sort of work because of a need for a creative outlet.
The troupe has been together officially since February of this year. Tell Us About the Rabbits' slogan reads, "Art inspired by life to excite and awaken minds."
Tell Us About the Rabbits is a paid professional troupe that has performed on Albuquerque Pride's main stage and at the Tricklock Performance Space.
The directors tried to pay their dancers for both shows, but the dancers refused the money and donated it back to Tricklock and to the New Mexico Aids Services. Tell Us About the Rabbits is also partnered with Youth and Development International.
