Colorado State 58

BYU 13

The Rams started week seven in the MWC with a complete thumping of the BYU Cougars Thursday in Provo, Utah. Colorado State became the first team to score more than 50 points at BYU while chalking up 446 yards.

Colorado State out gained BYU on the ground, in the air and in special teams.

The Rams sat starting quarterback Bradlee Van Pelt early in the third quarter after accumulating a 28-point halftime lead. Van Pelt finished 8 of 11 passing for 192 yards.

Air Force 24

UNLV 7

Air Force further established itself as the leading team in the MWC as it improved its conference record to 3-0 after defeating UNLV Saturday in Colorado Springs, Colo.

The Falcons accumulated more first downs, held the ball longer and racked up 261 rushing yards, 36 less than its phenomenal conference leading average of 297.

Air Force quarterback Chance Harridge only threw for 63 yards, but led his team in rushing with 89 yards on 12 carries.

Utah 27

San Diego State 6

Conference rushing leader Brand Warfield showed again why he is one of the MWC's best as he ran for 133 yards but failed to score any touchdowns, allowing UNM's DonTrell Moore to continue leading the conference with nine.

All 27 of the Utes' points came in the second half while the home crowd watched its defense prevent the Aztecs from scoring anything more than a pair of first-half field goals.

Wyoming 48

Utah State 21

Wyoming took on non-conference opponent Utah State and put on an impressive show scoring 31 in the first half and winning by 37 on the road.

Despite giving up 178 return yards, the Cowboys racked up 434 total offensive yards on 72 plays.
