Perkins pitched her fourth shutout of the season Sunday against the University of Texas- El Paso, allowing only two hits, one walk and striking out 10 of 24 batters. Perkins has shut out the opponent in four of her last five appearances on the mound. UNM is 6-0 with Perkins pitching, and she led the Lobos past UTEP 5-0.

DeVries played a key role in the Lobos' 72-60 win over the San Diego State Aztecs on Saturday at The Pit. He was perfect from the free-throw line and missed only one shot from the floor. DeVries was good for four of his five 3-point attempts and 16 points. All of his shots were from beyond the arc.
