Kovacek went undefeated this weekend and led the No. 33 Lobos to an upset win over the No. 19 Brigham Young Cougars on Friday and a sweep of the Utah Utes on Saturday. The No. 73 Kovacek defeated the nation's No. 37 singles player from BYU and later beat the No. 12 doubles team with the help of Sandy Lukowski.

Coetzee came from behind to win the final home match of his career at Lobo Tennis Club on Sunday, defeating SDSU's Felix Hardt 2-6, 6-1, 6-2 in the No. 1 singles match. Coetzee is ranked 27th nationally and is 92-29 in his tenure as a Lobo. With four more victories this season, Coetzee will tie an all-time win record at UNMp.
