Staff Report
Andrew Bogut had his way with the Lobos' defense in Utah's 69-58 home win over UNM Saturday.
The Ute big man notched 18 of his team's first 19 points, seeming to score at will in the paint. He finished with 24 points and a career-high 20 rebounds, both game highs.
As a team, the Lobos grabbed a grand total of 23 rebounds in the game.
Danny Granger dressed and warmed up for UNM but never got off the bench during the game. It was his second-straight game sitting out following knee surgery.
He was missed on the blocks, as the Lobos were outscored a startling 52 to 20 in the paint. Utah shot 62.8 percent from the floor.

UNM previously led the nation in field goal percentage at 52.5 percent but hit just 39.6 percent of its shot attempts.
The team also missed 11 of its 19 free throws.
Their 58 points were a season low for the Lobos, who have averaged a conference-leading 80.4 points per game.
UNM led once in the game, at 10-9. Bogut took over at that point, scoring six straight to ignite a 12-2 run that essentially put the game out of reach. The scoring gap was never cut to less than eight points for the rest of the game.
Troy DeVries led the Lobos with 19 points, including five three- pointers.
Freshman backup point guard Darren Prentice started for the first time this season. Kris Collins, who started every game at the position this season, played 23 minutes and finished with eight points. Despite the start, Prentice played only five minutes.
Ryan Wall also got some rare court time at point guard for UNM. Wall and Prentice were held scoreless in the game.
Lobo head coach Ritchie McKay wouldn't give a specific reason for switching his starter.
Utah has won 11 in a row and sits alone at the top of the Mountain West Conference at 4-0. They have not lost a home game to UNM since 1989, a string of 16 wins.
McKay and the Lobos have their own dubious streak running - 24 straight MWC road losses.
Their MWC record falls to 1-2 after the loss. They play next on Monday night at Brigham Young, which sits at the bottom of the conference at 0-4.
Granger is not expected to play in that game.
