Men's Tennis
The UNM men's tennis team went ice cold against the Colorado Buffaloes Saturday, winning one of five matches.
The loss prevented the Lobos from reaching the finals at the ITA Mountain Region Indoor Tennis Tournament against Boise State.
Freshman Max Jones was the lone winner for the Lobos at the No. 3 singles spot. Jones took down Buffalo Marcos Digliodo 6-3, 7-5.
Senior Ryan Stotland, ranked No. 123, did not get to finish his match against No. 1 Marko Bundalo at the first-place singles spot.

All of the doubles matches in the UNM-Colorado match were canceled because the point earned by the doubles win was inconsequential.
At the No. 2 singles spot Jan Zelezny beat David Kowalksi 6-2, 6-2. Kamil Pajkowski fell at the hands of Peter Bjork 6-4, 6-0 at No. 4 singles.
Eric Conklin took a handful of games from Marek Dvorak but eventually lost 6-4, 6-2 at the No. 5 spot. Derek Boland's effort was thwarted by Chad Tsuda 6-4, 6-4 at the No. 6 singles spot.
The Lobos fly to Seattle to compete in a duet of matches this weekend. The Lobos will take on the Washington Huskies Saturday. Washington is ranked No. 21 in the country.
UNM will battle the Michigan State Spartans on Sunday.
