Mandi Moore wasn't about to miss one more game - or one more start, for that matter.
The UNM women's basketball point guard was on the floor for 38 of 40 minutes in the Lobos' 70-63 win against the Utah Utes on Sunday despite suffering an eye injury on Feb. 5 against Colorado State. The injury kept her out of Thursday's game against Air Force and stopped her streak of 115 straight starts.
The win puts the Lobos in sole possession of first place in the Mountain West Conference with an 8-1 record. UNM is 19-3 overall.
Utah dropped to 7-2 in the MWC and 18-6 overall.
Her replacement in the game against Air Force, Katie Montgomery, got another chance to start against Utah.

She made the most of it, scoring a team-high 18 points and grabbing seven rebounds as well.
The Lobos pulled away from the Utes when they went on a 20-4 run to close the first half. The Utes couldn't break the seven-point barrier and suffered a season sweep from the Lobos.
