Editor,
This weekend at the fair, I bought
two stickers for my new car: a Darwin
fish and one that said, "PETA:
People Eating Tasty Animals."
I have a dry sense of humor, so

these appealed to me, and I knew
my friends would like them too. I
went to school this Monday, parked
in a lot and attended class until
6:45 p.m.
I got back to the lot and saw that
my tire was slashed and got the
proper help.
At home, I was confused until it
was pointed out to me that it happened
after I got that PETA sticker.
Let me set the record straight
here - I consider myself pretty
liberal. I'm a registered libertarian,
and I agree with PETA on several
points, like the fact that the use of
fur is cruel and just plain unnecessary
now that we have synthetics.
But if this is how PETA and its
goons are going to react, they're going
to have to re-examine their priorities.
PETA is supposedly a liberal
organization, but the definition of
liberal is "open to a variety of opinions."
This behavior shows them for
what they are: reactionary, meanspirited
and childish.
Prove me wrong, activists, and I
just might support your causes.
