Letter: Faculty leaves because funds go to administrators

Regarding the story in Monday's Daily Lobo on the flight of faculty from UNM, Provost Reed Dasenbrock stated that UNM cannot afford to pay upper-level faculty the six-figure salaries that other institutions can.

Why, then, are we able to pay six-figure salaries to a growing number of administrators like himself?

I guess these people are more important to the University than a top-notch physicist or historian.
