Jacquelyne Gallegos - Gallegos' final cross country season has turned out to be her most rewarding so far.
The senior has been one of the Lobos' top runners since her freshman year, but is enjoying her finest season at this point.
This year she has been named the Mountain West Conference Cross Country Athlete of the Week twice. No Lobo in UNM history has received that award twice in the same season.

Gallegos has been named MWC Cross Country Athlete of the Week three times in her career, also a first for any UNM runner.
The first week of the season, Gallegos dominated the Lobo Invitational, winning her first collegiate cross country race. Two weeks later, she finished in third place at the elite Stanford Invitational, just six seconds behind the winner.
Amazingly, those are the only two races Gallegos has competed in this season. Potentially, she could have received more awards, but she sat out the NMSU Kachina Classic to prepare for the Stanford Invitational.
Gallegos dropped out of the Auburn Invitational last Saturday with a hamstring injury, but she should recover in time to finish the season.
With the all-important MWC Championships on Oct. 28, Gallegos has a chance to add to her success this year.
DonTrell Moore - There is no doubt that DonTrell Moore has been one of the biggest names in the Mountain West Conference and the entire nation this season.
The senior tailback has broken or extended just about every rushing and scoring record that exists at both UNM and the MWC.
After coming back from a torn ACL he suffered in last year's Emerald Bowl, Moore has been one of the premier football players for the Lobos this year.
Against Texas Christian University, Moore scored three touchdowns, breaking the MWC record for rushing touchdowns and total touchdowns. Moore has 43 rushing touchdowns and 51 total touchdowns.
Against New Mexico State University, Moore added 120 yards to his rushing total and broke the UNM rushing record. Moore now has 4,300 career rushing yards, the all-time UNM and MWC records.
With five games remaining, there are still more amazing numbers that Moore can put up. He needs 457 yards to become the sixth player in NCAA history to run for more than 1,000 yards in four seasons.
Moore is just a mere three yards away from passing Bo Jackson for collegiate career yardage. If he can manage to rush for 700 yards in the last five games of his career, he would be only the 10th player in NCAA history to rush for 5,000 yards.
